About The Position

The Mold Machine Maintenance role at Amcor involves inspecting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on molding machines. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, completing assigned work, and communicating activities with management and department members. The position requires maintaining a neat plant appearance and seeking continuous training. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade School, Technical, or Mechanical certificate a plus

Responsibilities

  • Must be trained on, understand and follow all Life Saving Rules.
  • Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems on molding machines.
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures as specified.
  • Complete work assigned by Manager or Lead person.
  • Communicate activities with Manager and other members of the department.
  • Maintain neat and orderly appearance of plant and molding machines.
  • Assist in other departments as requested by Manager or Lead person.
  • Seek training to stay current with job requirements.
  • Assume control of machine when a situation arises which has potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines.
