About The Position

This is a Full Time position for a Mold & Die Repairer in Sparta, WI. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain tool and dies for production. The position involves essential duties such as maintaining and repairing tools and dies, sharpening, performing tool changeovers, logging events into the tool program, monitoring and ordering materials and supplies for the tool room, and cleaning and maintaining the tool room and equipment.

Requirements

• Must have a good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Must have knowledge and/or experience operating hand tools, drillers, lattle, mills, saws, surface grinder and power hand tools.
• Able to operate forklift.
• Able to use and read precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair of tool and dies.
• Sharpening + tool change overs.
• Log events into tool program.
• Monitor and order materials and supplies for tool room.
• Clean and maintain tool room and equipment.
