About The Position
The Mold Change Technician C is responsible for performing changeovers and set-ups of molds and machines related to mold and version changes. This role also focuses on improving machine efficiency through uptime and optimization. The technician will complete required trainings, assist Process Techs and Maintenance in troubleshooting, and install dies on machines according to specifications.
Requirements
- 1 year of continuous employment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Perform changeovers and set ups of molds and machines pertaining to mold and version changes.
- Improve machine efficiency through uptime and optimization.
- Complete required trainings: Paulson, Systematic I, EAM, and crane.
- Assist Process Techs and Maintenance in troubleshooting issues pertaining to mold and press functions.
- Install dies on machines according to specifications (i.e., layouts, STW, BOMs).
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
