About The Position

Provide frontline leadership to Mold Change team members, specifically in areas of safety and quality. Mold Change Leads will actively participate in all mold and version changes, alongside the Mold Change team. This role operates on a 2/2/3 schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Requirements

• Frontline leadership experience.
• Experience in safety and quality.
• Ability to actively participate in mold and version changes.
• Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance on molds.
• Skill in troubleshooting and repairing machine components.
• Experience in setting up molding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety equipment and device usage.
• Involvement in Continuous Improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct small focused Mold Change team.
• Safely and effectively perform mold and version changes according to the production schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance on molds to include lubricating, minor repairs and identifying worn or damaged parts.
• Troubleshoot and make repairs to machine components.
• Set up molding machine and ancillary equipment, as related to the molding process.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
• Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
