About The Position

Regent Restoration is a leading provider of water damage restoration services in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and has recently expanded its services to include mold remediation. The company is looking for a restoration technician with experience in water, mold, and fire damage, or a willingness to learn. The technician will be the first impression and the face of the company to clients, often during stressful situations, and is expected to help customers and leave their property in the best possible condition. The company emphasizes a no B.S. approach to helping homeowners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Know how to use basic hand tools, such as a hammer, pry bar, etc.
  • Must be willing and able to wear a respirator
  • Willingness to learn
  • Great team player with superb communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC certification in water damage or mold remediation preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years applied structural drying experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Mold remediation, asbestos abatement according to Regent Restoration and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
  • Setting up containment, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment.
  • Clear the work site by moving furniture and equipment and restore the work site to the original configuration when the job is complete.
  • Performing demolitions and light construction tasks.
  • Setting up and monitoring drying equipment.
  • Expected to wear safety gear, PPE at the job site.
  • Setting up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
  • Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged.
  • Providing updates to your direct supervisor daily.
  • Must maintain a safe work record and identify potentially unsafe working scenarios or conditions.
  • Coordinate responsibilities and tasks with other technicians on the job site.
  • Upon returning to branch, turn in all paperwork to designated person.
  • Monitor all jobs and update the customer on the progress and planned completion date of restoration services, when possible.
  • Communication with the management team to ensure our customers are getting superior service.
  • Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites (good drivers needed) Following all State traffic laws and company policies to ensure your safety.
  • Complete continued training certs paid for by company.
  • Use of phone and tablet to document drying progress after proper training.
  • Always Keep a clean and neat job site leaving a first-class impression of our work.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
