About The Position

Join the Dermatology team as a Mohs Surgical Assistant (MA-C)! In this role you will ensure that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed, provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs, and assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens. In addition, the Mohs assistant will assist the dermatology providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow.

Requirements

  • Active Medical Assistant-Certified credential from Washington State Department of Health
  • Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
  • Working knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Dermatology experience, preferred.
  • Two years of experience in an outpatient surgery center, Mohs dermatology practice, or office-based surgery department preferred.
