About The Position

Anne Arundel Dermatology has been a trusted leader in skin health for over 50 years, providing comprehensive medical, pediatric, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services. With a large network of clinicians and locations, they aim to set the standard in dermatologic care and offer growth opportunities for physicians. Dermatology Specialists of Augusta, an affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon to join their practice in Augusta and Evans, Georgia. This role involves a mix of Mohs surgery and general dermatology, with flexible full-time or part-time options. The position offers an established patient base, immediate demand, experienced leadership, and strong operational support. Additionally, there is a $150,000 sign-on bonus for full-time physicians, uncapped earning potential, and the flexibility to customize your schedule and patient mix.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist with fellowship training in Mohs surgery.
• Experience performing Mohs micrographic surgery independently.
• Interest in practicing a combination of Mohs surgery and general dermatology.
• Comfortable managing an established patient base and high-volume clinical schedule.
• Committed to providing efficient, high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in building lasting patient and referral relationships and contributing to long-term practice growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited dermatology residency program.
• Successful completion of a Mohs surgery fellowship.
• Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology.
• Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery and provide high-quality surgical dermatology care.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic general dermatologic conditions.
• Conduct skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, skin cancer prevention, and post-procedure care.
• Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in EMA.
• Collaborate with referring providers, clinical staff, and practice leadership to support coordinated patient care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, professionalism, and compliance.
• Build strong patient and referral relationships that contribute to long-term practice growth.
