About The Position

As a Module Equipment Technician in ORAP, you will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring the functionality and performance of equipment critical to our manufacturing processes. Requirements

  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ year Technical certification or related trade school
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 2+ years related hands on experience OR military technical experience
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 1+ in related equip maintenance experience
  • Associate degree in a STEM related technical field

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in working with hand tools, meters, and calibration tools.
  • Experience in semiconductor equipment, fab maintenance, or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in nonfunctioning manufacturing equipment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and install/assemble equipment following layout plans, blueprints, repair manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, coordinating supplier services for repairs when required.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment data to enhance tool performance and address tool/module-related issues.
  • Create detailed reports on system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new specifications to support equipment maintenance and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with Module Engineering to execute experiments, equipment configuration changes, and data collection activities, always adhering to established procedures.
  • Support engineering teams in troubleshooting module equipment through data-driven analysis and controlled experiments to meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Assist in factory ramps, ensuring tools are installed and/or converted per design specifications in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
