Modified Substitute Teacher (Expanded Emergency Substitute License)
About The Position
The placement could be in one location for 1-15 days. Can share your preference for Elementary, Middle, or High school positions. This is an itinerant position and you will be placed daily into sub jobs by the sub services team. This position instructs students in a classroom which could include students with educational risk factors, as well as students with special needs. The teacher is responsible for the implementation of the district curriculum in a way that maximizes student learning. The teacher is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of all students within his/her teaching assignment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be able to show a valid high school diploma or transcripts
- Must complete required training for KSDE
- Criminal justice fingerprint
- Background clearance
- TB test
- Physical
