About The Position
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Modification Technician to join our team in Duluth GA. This role provides in-house modifications to electric motors.
Requirements
- Knowledge of low/med voltage AC motors preferred.
- Understand and follow safety procedures.
- Strong mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures.
- Ability to use and operate manual tools and power tools in hands-on applications.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
- SAP and other business software experience is preferred.
- 0 - 2 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Modify electric motors as per customer specification.
- Deliver finished product to designated shipping area.
- Processing of completed production orders and quality inspection sheets in SAP daily.
- Support the Mod Shop Lead in projects to achieve on time delivery goals.
- Perform tasks in a safe environment while using all necessary PPE.
- Complete daily equipment operation checklists.
- Complete daily cleaning assignments (5S).
