Requirements

5+ years of software development in Rust and C or C++
Complexity analysis, integration testing, and debugging in a professional environment
Experience with containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and tools such as Git, SSH, PuTTY, or CLI
Knowledge of foundational software engineering principles such as modularity, memory management, design patterns, code review, or documentation
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Python
Experience in modernizing legacy code
Experience with Navy acoustic or sonar systems, or other real-time signal processing
Knowledge of modern streaming platforms such as Kafka or Redpanda
Ability to display interest in applying AI-forward approaches to developer workflows such as hosting LLMs, vector databases, or LangChain
Secret clearance
