Client Service Representative (Teller) The Retail Banking Apprenticeship Program offers insight and hands-on experience across all areas and levels of the bank. This unique opportunity allows students to explore the full range of careers in banking, far beyond the traditional teller role. Apprentices follow a structured pathway toward a rewarding future in financial services, learning about customer service, lending, operations, compliance, and more. They will discover all the possibilities the banking world has to offer while building professional skills for long-term success. The Retail Banking Apprenticeship is in partnership with the Financial Services Academy (fsaindiana.org), which is part of the new Indiana Career Apprenticeship Pathway (indianacap.org). Role Snapshot: Retail bankers assist clients with day-to-day banking needs by helping them to manage their money through bank products. They serve as the frontline representatives of a bank, building relationships and supporting clients' financial well-being. As apprentices progress toward becoming fully trained Client Service Representative (Teller), they will gain a solid understanding of key banking concepts and practices throughout the two-year program, leading to a broad understanding of banking, including: Banking Structure, Strategy, and Leadership Customer-Facing Services Lending and Products Compliance and Security Core, Transferable Professional Skills
