HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Military Operations Analyst to support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) under the Joint Staff J7 (JS J-7). This senior-level role requires deep expertise in space operations, joint planning, and cross-functional integration to advance joint and coalition training excellence.

Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills or demonstrated proficiency in the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Proven expertise in space operations and integrating space effects into the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP).
  • Joint operations planning experience at the Combatant Command level, with exposure to multiple CCMDs.
  • Experience leading and training high performance teams in fast-paced, high pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing high level reports and briefings.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with the Joint Staff J7 Joint Exercise Division (JExD).
  • Completion of professional development programs such as JPME II, Red Team Course, Electronic Warfare Integration Course, or NSSI Space 200/300.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and integrate space operations equities across multi combatant command exercises, ensuring alignment with emerging concepts, doctrine, and joint training needs.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on command and control, electronic warfare, contingency operations, MTTP, weapon systems, and force planning.
  • Collaborate with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) stakeholders to define, refine, and prioritize requirements for the Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) modernization program.
  • Assess the conduct and effectiveness of operational training events, wargames, and simulated wartime operations.
  • Compare and evaluate JLVC modernization designs, alternatives, and technical approaches.
  • Apply emerging doctrine, wargame insights, and experimentation outcomes to M&S system design and development.
  • Evaluate programmatic and technical impacts on user requirements and operational doctrine.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, briefs, and strategic recommendations for systems, programs, and training investments.
  • Apply extensive technical knowledge in space domain awareness, satellite communications, and operational analysis to support mission objectives.
