We are currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Systems Engineer II to join our Concept of Operations (CONOPS) Analysis section—a team that drives the development of next-generation CONOPS for advanced systems. This is an onsite role based in Woburn, MA, or Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience modeling and/or simulating physical systems.
Experience with with programming tools like MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Strong knowledge of system engineering life-cycle models.
Experience in data analysis, statistics, and conducting studies with large datasets.
Familiarity with CONOPS, system tradeoffs, threat definitions, and system-of-systems assessments.
Exceptional technical and analytical skills to deliver credible solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement mission modeling and simulation solutions to support trade studies and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze and solve complex computational challenges.
Evaluate end-to-end system needs, including interfaces and data connectivity requirements across entire kill-chains.
Analyze performance data and develop metrics to validate architectures against mission requirements.
Contribute to shaping future technological advancements through innovative algorithms and next-generation system-of-systems performance enhancements.
