About The Position

Applicant will apply an understanding of modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques to perform threat model and scenario creation, validation and verification (V&V) testing, analysis, and process improvement for M&S programs such as ITASE and/or TMAP for the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). Job duties may include: Review of threat model documentation for identifying process improvement Threat model and/or architecture release testing Analyzing M&S performance of small to large autonomous and/or integrated scenarios, focusing on messages sent between simulation federates and comparing threat model performance to Intelligence data Configuring M&S scenarios using threat model documentation and Intelligence data Executing simulations with user-configured ("Constructive") threat models as well as Operator-in-the-Loop (OITL) threat models Performing "batch" runs (i.e. more than one run) for scenarios by sweeping threat model parameters Using Gitlab Software Configuration Management for software issue reporting and file configuration management Using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documenting test reports and results, and documenting identified M&S process improvement recommendations Using collaboration software such as MatterMost to clearly and effectively communicate with multiple teams between multiple labs and locations Candidate selected must: Efficiently manage personal tasking, make informed decisions with minimal supervision, and proactively seek out the necessary information to complete assignments Work in a fast-paced lab environment onsite at MSIC, interfacing routinely with both Contractor and Government employees Exercise effective technical written and oral communication with Program Management and teammates Multitask well, have a positive attitude, be highly motivated and a productive team player At COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. Requirements

Understanding of modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques
Experience with M&S programs such as ITASE and/or TMAP
Experience with Gitlab Software Configuration Management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with collaboration software such as MatterMost
Ability to manage personal tasking efficiently
Ability to make informed decisions with minimal supervision
Proactively seek out necessary information to complete assignments
Ability to interface routinely with both Contractor and Government employees
Effective technical written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities
