About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation Specialist will be responsible for building, operating, and refining constructive and virtual 2D/3D terrain and simulation scenarios. This role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining simulation environments to support mission training objectives. The specialist will also assist in scenario authoring, terrain development, and system configuration. Coordination with training staff, technical teams, and military personnel is crucial to ensure scenario accuracy and realism.

Requirements

• Associate degree or 4 years of related military experience.
• 2 years developing scenarios with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) 4.
• Familiarity building 3D terrain databases and entity objects.
• Experience with constructive/virtual computer simulations.
• Experience with video editing.
• Experience with authoring modeling/simulation scenarios.
• Experience with Army Mission Command and/or LVCG systems.
• Experience with one object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or .NET.
• Knowledge of military operational concepts.
