SAIC is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Pearl City, Hawaii to support INDOPACOM in joint simulations, core IT systems, exercise design, architecture, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, issue coordination/resolution and technical SME during event tests and execution. This role involves designing simulation and Common Operational Picture (COP) technical architectures and solutions, including cross-domain solutions (CDS). The engineer will build and maintain computer models and C4I software and systems, and test and validate simulation solutions during the design and planning stages. Responsibilities also include systems engineering and administration during technical tests and exercise execution, identifying equipment and software requirements, building software images, and performing system installations and configurations. The role requires coordination for system tests, generating equipment plans, and packaging equipment for deployment. Additionally, the engineer will create setup and execution plans, SOPs, presentations, diagrams, technical documentation, floor plans, and training materials. Building simulation and C4I systems for wargames and exercises, installing network components, and setting up databases, terrain, maps, and other products are also key aspects of the position.
