About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will support the Prime's Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) Modeling and Integration team. In this critical role, you will support the development, integration, and testing of advanced threat missile and radar simulation models used in high-fidelity defense simulations. This position provides the opportunity to directly impact national security by delivering realistic and validated models for mission-critical environments.

Requirements

  • Be proficient in C++
  • Previous experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK
  • Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset
  • Be a US citizen
  • Have a Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics,
  • Have a minimum of 10 years combined relevant M&S experience in performing the essential duties listed above
  • Have strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Top Secret/SCI with a polygraph is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-fidelity threat missile and radar simulation models that replicate real-world systems and behaviors.
  • Enhance and maintain existing models using advanced modeling and simulation tools in alignment with the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) delivery schedule.
  • Integrate threat models into the JSE simulation architecture, performing thorough integration and regression testing to ensure operational performance and reliability.
  • Analyze simulation outputs, validate models against empirical data, and refine systems for improved realism and predictive accuracy.
  • Utilize technical data packages and intelligence sources to inform model development and contribute to test planning and execution.
