About The Position

As an aerospace modeling and simulation (M&S) engineer, you know leading-edge technology is critical to national defense. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with M & S, including in an academic environment
  • Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of cross-domain or communications systems using Cameo and SysML
  • Experience with a variety of COTS and GOTS M & S and data science tools, including MATLAB, C++, Perl, or Python, to manipulate data between different formats and perform post-processing of data
  • Knowledge of cross-domain or communications systems, including aircraft and ground-based communications
  • Ability to apply operational analysis principles, theories, and concepts to execute study plans and analysis matrices
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) scripts to customize model behaviors and decisions within an analytical scenario
  • Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of cross-domain or communications systems using mission-level constructive simulation tools, including AFSIM, Extendable Mobile Ad-hoc Network Emulator (EMANE), Tactical Network Modeler (TNM), or Common Open Research Emulator (CORE)
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of raw model output to identify key drivers
  • Ability to distill, summarize, and articulate complex technical insights and findings
  • TS/SCI clearance
