Modeling and Simulation Engineer, Junior

Booz Allen Hamilton•McLean, VA
•$53,000 - $108,000

About The Position

We are seeking a junior-level Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support multi-domain defense simulation development and testing for our wargaming and modeling and simulation team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building system models, running high-fidelity physics-based simulations, and solving the most difficult technical challenges faced in the modeling and simulation domain. The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will utilize their technical experience developing and using system, subsystem, and component models in aeronautical, astronautical, ground, sea, and undersea applications, executing simulation trades, and performing Monte Carlo analysis. The engineer will also be developing and implementing high-fidelity models for simulations to support strategy, technology or concept development, requirements, design, and modeling of communications networks and systems. As a Modeling and Simulation Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.
