About The Position

As a modeling and simulation (M&S) engineer on our team, you will develop classified models of radars, communication systems, and aircraft and conduct analysis using them in a constructive simulation of combat operations. This role is a blend of engineering, software development, simulation analysis, and DevOps, offering you multiple avenues for growth with both technical and leadership opportunities. Our multi-disciplinary team of STEM professionals operates in small groups where your contributions matter. You will also interact with clients to understand their needs, define requirements, and present technical results that inform stakeholders. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate combat weapon systems, electromagnetic warfare (EW), countermeasures, and more using computer-based analytical tools. Ultimately, the analysis you provide will help the acquisition community make informed decisions pertaining to future combat systems, furthering the mission of the Department of War (DoW). Join us. Requirements

  • Experience with engineer-based modeling, simulation, and analyses for the DoW
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Fortran, MATLAB, or Python
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of radar principles, signal processing, and EW
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice To Haves

  • Experience modeling and analyzing radars or sensors
  • Experience with object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with Linux and Git, GitHub, or GitLab
  • Experience scripting or automating using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of container technologies, including Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
