Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst
About The Position
As a Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst, you will lead development teams using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and use-case development for selected systems. You will develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), and create system-model representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability. You will implement and manage system architectures in the MBSE environment and support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software and hardware integration testing, including analysis of integration results to assess system impacts. The role also includes reviewing systems engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate; contributing to trade studies, technical risk analysis, and mitigation; analyzing and evaluating systems using MBSE artifacts; and participating in system requirements reviews. You will create and update requirements specifications and technical documentation. Strong written, communication, and presentation skills and effective teamwork are needed. Some travel is required, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or related field.
- Three years of related experience.
- Understanding of system interface requirements and interface management.

Responsibilities
- Lead development teams using MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and use-case development for selected systems.
