About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Mod/Sim Associate to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. The candidate will provide support for Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and analysis. Utilizing a professional knowledge of simulation methodologies, the candidate will support the planning, design, execution, and analysis in the development of M&S environments pertaining to Electromagnetic Spectrum.

Requirements

• Professional knowledge of simulation methodologies.
• Experience with AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling).
• Experience with STK (Systems Tool Kit).
• Experience with MATLAB.
• Ability to analyze operational concepts, threat capabilities, and environment requirements.
• Ability to conduct technical reviews of modeling methodologies, simulation results, algorithms, and technical specifications.
• Ability to maintain current engineering and simulation data.
• Ability to stay informed about emerging technologies and simulation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and execute mission-level and engagement-level simulations utilizing tools such as AFSIM (Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling), STK (Systems Tool Kit), and MATLAB.
• Analyze operational concepts, threat capabilities, and environment requirements to identify and implement improvements in M&S architectures and Electronic Warfare representations.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and provide technical data to support project cost estimations.
• Conduct technical reviews of modeling methodologies, simulation results, algorithms, and technical specifications, providing recommendations to Government leads to ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Maintain current engineering and simulation data for assigned projects. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and simulation capabilities to improve modeling fidelity.
