About The Position

The mobility technician will collaborate with nursing leadership, rehab services, quality, patient care technicians, physicians, and therapists. This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating early mobility interventions, assisting staff with mobilizing complex and high-risk patients, updating patient EMR, educating staff on safe patient handling equipment and mobility tools, serving as an active member of the mobility and fall team, and monitoring mobility metrics to lead performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • CPR – American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
