About The Position

The Mobility Mentor supports adult learners and job seekers in achieving economic mobility through individualized coaching, case management, and workforce development services. Using the EMPath Bridge to Self-Sufficiency® framework, the position helps participants set goals, overcome barriers, and progress in education, employment, financial stability, housing, and health. The role leads recruitment, outreach, retention, and partnership-building efforts while facilitating workshops and connecting participants to resources and career pathways. The Mobility Mentor maintains accurate data and reporting, monitors participant outcomes, and collaborates with internal and external partners to improve service delivery and advance BakerRipley’s mission of promoting self-sufficiency and opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ of case management, social work, or coaching experience preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Guide students using the EMPath Bridge to Self-Sufficiency® to promote progress in housing, education, career, health, and finances.
  • Conduct detailed assessments, co-create action plans, and monitor participant progress.
  • Maintain accurate, timely case documentation in program databases, ensuring compliance with data and reporting standards.
  • Lead recruitment, outreach, and marketing efforts for workforce and adult education programs in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Represent BakerRipley at job fairs, events, and partner meetings to promote enrollment and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies that support persistence and successful program completion.
  • Design and facilitate student workshops, group sessions, and community events focused on life skills, goal setting, and career advancement.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to integrate into workforce and adult education pathways.
  • Work with internal partners to design and refine data collection tools and tracking systems.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to measure participant progress, program impact, and mobility outcomes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across all relevant systems, including Salesforce and TEAMS.
  • Use data insights to improve service quality, mentor performance, and overall program outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, employers, and training providers.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of workforce development, financial literacy, and education-to-employment pathways.
  • Coordinate service delivery and referrals across public and private agencies to address participant need.
