About The Position

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Fresno, CA and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, prioritizing professional fulfillment and personal freedom. As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during significant life moments. You will join a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training, mentors, and practice managers to ensure success. Lap of Love emphasizes a culture of kindness, allowing veterinarians to practice with purpose while maintaining a balanced and supported life.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
• Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
