About The Position
Home with Dignity, a nationally renowned mobile in-home euthanasia practice and a proud CareVet partner, is seeking an experienced Full or Part-Time Veterinarian to join our compassionate team in Colorado Springs, CO. Our mission is to provide pets and their families with a dignified end-of-life journey, offering solace during their most challenging times. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid DEA, State, and additional controlled substance licensing (if required by state)
- At least 3 years of experience
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
- Perform a range of physical tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable with extended periods of driving
- Shifts are Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.
- Must work 4-5 days per week, with a minimum of 30 hours.
- Must have a reliable SUV or similar vehicle with a hatchback for travel
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate euthanasia services for pets at clients' homes.
- Handle appointments and pet transportation.
- Manage up to four appointments daily with no extra paperwork or follow-ups.
