About The Position

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a private, family-owned veterinary practice seeking a Full & Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian for the Sarasota, Florida area and surrounding regions. We are dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care for pets and their families, focusing on compassion, balance, and purpose without corporate pressure. Our veterinarians offer in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and compassionate family support. This role offers unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive leadership team that values veterinarian well-being.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD/BVMS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to Work Independently in a Mobile Environment
• Weekend Availability (Rotational)
• Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia.
• Offer hospice and palliative care.
• Conduct quality-of-life consultations.
