About The Position
FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in McIntosh County, Oklahoma, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions using industry-standard mobile applications. The position emphasizes autonomy, allowing you to manage your own routing, schedule, and territory, with standard inspections typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site. You will be responsible for determining property occupancy status, capturing photos, and submitting reports, while maintaining reliability for territory coverage and deadlines. This role involves significant driving in a rural county with longer distances between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.
Requirements
- Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
- Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
- Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
