About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Richmond County, Georgia, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. You will manage your own routing, schedule, and territory, with standard inspections typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site. The role involves determining property occupancy status, capturing photos, and submitting reports using mobile applications, while maintaining reliability and meeting deadlines. This position requires significant driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in the assigned territory, which covers a dense metro area where familiarity with city driving, parking, and navigating multi-unit properties is beneficial.

Requirements

Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
Ability to pass a standard background check.
Must live in or near Augusta or anywhere in Richmond County.
