Mobile Tire Technician STM 413
About The Position
STM 413 is a Mobile Tire Technician role that involves mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires, including passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial. The role also includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial vehicles, performing fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks, and responding to service calls using a service truck (F-350) when necessary. The technician will also operate company vehicles safely, load/unload inventory, assist with physical stock counts, use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), and follow all safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations
Nice To Haves
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required
