About The Position

Suburban Ford of Romeo is expanding rapidly and is seeking Mobile Technicians. This role offers a non-stop workload due to high and growing service demand, allowing for consistent hours. Technicians will work directly with customers at their locations, solving problems on-site and managing their own day. The position offers opportunities for rapid advancement for strong performers, with internal promotion and provided tools for success. Every day presents new challenges with different locations and vehicles, ensuring variety.

Requirements

• Hands-on automotive experience (lube tech or light repair background preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Customer-focused mindset — you are the face of the dealership in the field
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• High school diploma (or equivalent) and age 18+

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile maintenance and light repairs at customer locations
• Handle oil changes, battery replacements, tire services, and inspections
• Diagnose basic mechanical issues and provide efficient solutions
• Deliver a top-tier customer experience in the field
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mobile service vehicle
