About The Position

As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and provide preventive maintenance support across several buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and building systems.

This is a Monday through Friday, day-shift position. More than 50% of the work is based in Cynthiana, Kentucky, with mobile support provided to sites in Lexington, Florence, and Georgetown. A company vehicle will be assigned for travel between locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma and 2–3 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Some knowledge of standard principles, with limited practical experience applying them.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in the field are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including on fire/life safety equipment, water heaters, and dock locks.
• Complete general plumbing repairs, including leaks and toilets, as well as other routine building maintenance.
• Perform lighting maintenance and basic electrical repairs, including replacing lights, bulbs, and related components.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Deliver quality work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
