About The Position

Our technicians are responsible for providing superb customer service by diagnosing, visual inspections, removal of parts and attachments, warranty repairs, performing preventative maintenance services, repairing lights and wiring, welding, cutting and other repairs. This position reports to the Mobile Service Manager, is a 40 hour a week position and is eligible for overtime. For well-qualified, proven efficient applicants, we also offer a flat rate compensation plan. This position also qualifies for a monthly bonus incentive based on your upsales. The technician position is a physically demanding position. You will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will use hand and power tools. Will lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift. Will use hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. MANDATORY SMARTPHONE CAPABILITY Employment in this position requires possession of a personal smartphone capable of downloading, installing, and reliably operating company-issued mobile applications. These applications are mandatory for completing safety inspections, reviewing coaching materials, monitoring driving performance, receiving critical notifications, and accessing other required safety resources. Our payroll and attendance processes also operate through a mobile application. All employees must clock in and out using this system as part of standard timekeeping procedures. Ability to meet this requirement is a condition of employment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of diesel truck service experience
  • Three years of computer diagnostics experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Technical ability
  • Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Valid driver's license
  • Driving record that meets company criteria
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Driver Medical certification
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
  • Possession of a personal smartphone capable of downloading, installing, and reliably operating company-issued mobile applications
  • Willingness to submit to a background check
  • Willingness to submit to a post-offer drug screen
