Requirements

High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
Experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a Class B license.
Must have a basic set of hand tools up to 1 ½” and ½ drive pneumatics.
Technical understanding with attention to detail.
Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
Capable of maintaining accurate inventory control.
Ability to implement a strong safety environment at all times.
Ability to work alone with little or no direction at times.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical.

Nice To Haves

Post-Secondary vocational education strongly preferred.
Fleet and mobile maintenance experience a plus.
Ability to understand and adhere to company policies in all areas.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty tractors and equipment.
Operate a service truck to perform on-site inspections, often in challenging weather conditions.
Diagnose and address vehicle breakdowns.
Replace and adjust worn or damaged components.
Verify repairs through test drives.
Perform tire services, including replacements, rotations, mounting, and dismounting.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Maintain meticulous vehicle records.
Manage costs effectively by utilizing warranties and evaluating service options.
Maintain the service truck to standard, including cleanliness and resupply.
