About The Position

As a Tactical Security Guard for parking facilities, you will be the steady presence people count on — ensuring safety, providing support, and protecting public spaces with professionalism and empathy. This role is about leadership through action, awareness, and care. You will engage with the public compassionately, especially individuals from vulnerable sectors, showing empathy and respect in every interaction. You will work in the heart of Downtown Toronto across different parking facilities. You will de-escalate conflicts calmly using sound judgment, communication, and situational awareness. You will act as a first responder, providing immediate support in medical or crisis situations until emergency services arrive. You will patrol parking environments — including lots, stairwells, and exteriors — to maintain a visible and reassuring presence. You will monitor alarms and surveillance systems, ensuring equipment is functional and incidents are addressed promptly. You will deliver professional customer service, assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns. You will document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required. Every day brings new challenges — and new chances to make a difference.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification - WSIB approved
• Valid Ontario Driver's License (G class)
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Ability to stand and patrol for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols in extreme weather conditions
• Minimum 1 year of tactical experience engaging with members of the vulnerable population
• Availability of night shifts throughout the week (Must be available Monday to Sunday: 8PM-8AM (12 hour contintenal shifts))

Nice To Haves

• Police Foundations diploma or previous police/military experience
