About The Position

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building Android applications that integrate with remote services and APIs.
  • 1+ years of experience creating UI components with Jetpack Compose.
  • Solid understanding Android architecture, performance optimization, and mobile security.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Git for version control (GitHub preferred).
  • Some experience or familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring products work well for everyone.

  • Comfort in Agile/Scrum environments and enjoy working iteratively.
  • Take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and collaborate openly with teammates.
  • Be curious, always looking for ways to improve both the product and customer experience.
  • Bonus points if you’ve used GitHub Copilot or enjoy experimenting with new tools and ideas!

Responsibilities

  • Build intuitive, mobile‑first experiences that are accessible and easy to use.
  • Translate user stories into efficient, maintainable, and tested code.
  • Ensure applications are secure, performant, and dependable.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and external data sources.
  • Identify and fix issues, continuously improving overall application performance.
  • Collaborate with Designers, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews to share knowledge and raise quality.
  • Continuously learn and explore new technologies that can improve how customers experience our products.
