About The Position

We are looking for a Mobile Service Mechanic/Technician! The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and maintenance at customer locations, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, adaptability, and customer service skills to deliver high-quality service in a mobile environment. This individual will utilize their skills to diagnose and resolve automotive issues swiftly.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Excellent communication and customer service skills and basic sales aptitude preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to perform repairs in one or more of the following areas: Lube and Maintenance Services, Engine Repair, Suspension/Steering Repair, Brake Repair
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Internet)
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

Previous mobile service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Travel to customer and on-site locations to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and warranty recall services.
Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in line with Lithia and manufacturer standards
Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform authorized repairs on-site
Be knowledgeable and skilled in performing all available warranty recalls remotely.
Occasionally service multiple vehicles in one location and coordinate with external dealers/facilities to streamline repairs.
Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements
