About The Position

Long-Lewis Ford of Alabaster is seeking motivated, skilled technicians for its growing Mobile Service Division. This role offers more freedom, better pay, and less stress compared to traditional dealership technician roles. Technicians will drive a fully equipped service van to customer locations, performing dealership-quality repairs at homes, job sites, and offices across the area. The position emphasizes working independently while staying connected to the dealership team, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high safety and service standards.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a technician (dealership or high-volume shop preferred)
• ASE Certification required
• Solid diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical skills
• Great communication and customer service mindset
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Self-starter who thrives on independence and responsibility

• Ford FSA certification

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided mobile service van to customer locations
