About The Position

Kendall Ford of Eugene is seeking a responsible, proactive, and personable Mobile Service Technician who thrives in an independent work setting. This role involves traveling to customer locations in a fully equipped mobile service van to perform on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs. It is a customer-facing position that requires strong automotive diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations (homes or offices) to perform on-site vehicle maintenance and repairs using a fully equipped mobile service van.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, battery replacements, fluid exchanges, tire rotations, software updates, recalls, brake services, and wiper replacements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, execute warranty repairs, and perform recalls to manufacturer specifications.
• Handle software updates, diagnostic scanning, and accessory installations.
• Interact directly with clients to explain vehicle conditions, provide repair estimates, and deliver invoices.
• Provide complimentary professional multi-point vehicle inspections with pictures and video.
• Keep the mobile service vehicle clean, organized, and adequately stocked with the necessary tools and parts.
