About The Position

This position is for FleetPride's medium level of technician who will be able to work on most things that come in the door. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, air systems, electrical diagnosis and repairs, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, some AC diagnostics and repairs, some steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, removing and replacing differentials, after treatment systems, and more.

Requirements

3+ years of diesel experience on semi-trucks preferred.
Good communication skills.
Ability to provide own tools and box.
Driven to work efficiently and safely.
Skillful in preventative maintenance, air systems, electrical diagnosis and repairs, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, some AC diagnostics and repairs, some steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, removing and replacing differentials, after treatment systems, and MORE.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and repair air systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair starting systems.
Repair brakes and wheel ends.
Service coolant systems.
Diagnose and repair AC systems.
Address steering and alignment issues.
Diagnose and repair drivetrain components.
Remove and replace differentials.
Service after treatment systems.
Communicate with service manager, service writer, and customers about jobs in progress.
