Mobile Service Technician (Automotive)
About The Position
Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Cypress, TX. The position involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Technicians will accurately document repairs, complete work orders, and maintain a clean and organized work area, including their tools and equipment, while following all safety procedures and company policies. Collaboration with supervisors and team members is also a key aspect of supporting fleet operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
