Requirements

  • Valid PSA Security Licence for Door Supervisor or Security Guard (or equivalent).
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for mobile patrol duties.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a security supervisory or mobile response role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish licensing laws, health and safety legislation, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile patrols and site visits across allocated client locations in Cork and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to site assignment instructions, company policies, and client-specific procedures.
  • Provide on-site supervision, coaching, and guidance to security officers across multiple locations.
  • Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and support relief cover, ensuring all sites are staffed appropriately and shifts are covered.
  • Liaise with emergency services and client representatives during critical incidents.
  • Ensure all security officers operate in compliance with the Private Security Authority (PSA) licensing requirements.
  • Complete patrol reports, incident reports, and administrative documentation accurately and on time.
  • Conduct spot checks, audits, and performance assessments in line with company quality standards.
  • Investigate and report breaches, disciplinary matters, and health and safety concerns as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits, patrol activity, and officer deployments.
  • Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of security officers
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, acting as a visible point of contact.
  • Address client concerns, feedback, and service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with rota management, absence management, and disciplinary investigations.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example in all aspects of security operations
