About The Position

As a Mobile Officer, you will maintain the safety and security of multiple client locations through vehicle-based patrols, site inspections, and a visible security presence. The role supports client operations by monitoring properties, deterring security incidents, responding to concerns, and ensuring compliance with site-specific policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, comfortable working independently, professional, communicative, and committed to safety. Training and development opportunities are available.

Schedules listed are 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., or 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Officers must be able to work any of these shifts seven days a week and will work 28 to 35 hours per week. The position requires frequent vehicle patrols between client locations and outdoor work in varying weather and environmental conditions, with professional interaction with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Connecticut driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report with no speeding tickets, accidents, or moving violations within the last three years.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain required state security licensing and certifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience (listed as preferred, though marked “required” in the posting).
• Professional driving experience.
• Experience working in customer service, hospitality, public safety, or a related field.
• Familiarity with incident reporting and mobile patrol operations.
• CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle patrols and security inspections at multiple client locations.
• Monitor properties and facilities to identify security, safety, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Enforce client policies, site procedures, and security regulations.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual incidents.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
