About The Position

Commissionaires BC is looking for a reliable, professional, and responsive Mobile Security Guard to service multiple client services. This roles requires the safe operations of a patrol vehicle, strong observations kills, and the ability to respond effectively to alarms incidents, and client requests. The selected candidate is expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic while working independently in a dynamic environment. Rotations: Mon - Fri 2200 - 0600 Pay rate: $22.00 / hour Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Requirements

Hold a valid BC Security License
Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license
Have a clean driver’s abstract
Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
Basic to intermediate computer skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in a similar role
Basic First Aid (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Responsibilities

Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations
Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders
Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app
Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed
Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary
Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested
Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports
Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times
Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues
Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately
Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times
Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required
Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism
Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude
Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents
