About The Position

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters. Digital Product Design (DPD) at Ford is committed to envisioning and creating simple, thoughtful, enjoyable, and compelling product experiences that our customers need and love. We work in close partnership with product and engineering to deliver best-in-class interactions experiences that meet the needs of people today, and in the future. Our team is comprised of a dynamic group of product designers, researchers, visual designers, industrial designers, modelers, and project managers. The Ford mobile app is an essential companion for our customers. It connects with their daily lives, journeys, and adventures by putting important vehicle status, command, and control features at their fingertips. The app should build confidence at every step and help Ford customers explore, accomplish tasks, and enjoy their ownership experience. We’re seeking a Senior Mobile Product Designer to lead design for mobile app features from concept through delivery. This hands-on individual-contributor role also includes project-level leadership: aligning cross-functional partners, guiding design decisions, and supporting peers through feedback and knowledge sharing. It does not include formal people management. A successful candidate will bring strong UX and visual design skills, sound judgment, and the ability to move work forward across disciplines and see it through to delivery. You will lead defined areas of design, help teams align around customer needs and product goals, and contribute to a consistent, high-quality experience across the app. This role is located in Dearborn, MI on a Hybrid work model reporting to the office 4 days per week.
