Mobile Phlebotomist PRN
About The Position
This PRN, as-needed independent contractor role involves completing in-home blood draws matched to the phlebotomist’s surrounding area. The position offers flexible, on-demand work with no set shifts, minimum or maximum hours, or guaranteed number of draws. Phlebotomists set and update their own availability, receive notifications when a patient requests a draw during an available time, and may accept or decline each offer. Demand is concentrated on weekday mornings and early afternoons, with little to no current demand for evening, weekend, or holiday draws. Compensation is $50 per completed draw, plus mileage compensation when applicable. The role may suit someone seeking supplemental income alongside another job, school, or family commitments.
Requirements
- Active phlebotomy certification.
- At least six months of current, relevant work experience, in addition to instructional hours completed while obtaining certification.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Fluency in English.
- Smartphone with internet access.
Responsibilities
- Set and update availability by uploading open time slots to a calendar.
- Review notifications and patient details for available in-home blood draw offers.
- Choose whether to accept or decline each offer.
- Complete accepted in-home blood draws.
