Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer and clerical proficiency
  • Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medical field experience is preferred
  • Phlebotomy Certification
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities

  • Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient blood drives.
  • Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture procedures with confidence and care.
  • Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed.
  • Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and fellow team members.
