Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy course and clinical experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and clerical proficiency
- Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Previous medical field experience is preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Responsibilities
- Set up donor blood bags, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth and efficient blood drives.
- Perform donor screenings, mini-physical assessments, and venipuncture procedures with confidence and care.
- Provide excellent care before, during, and after donation, including refreshments and assistance when needed.
- Build strong relationships with donors, community partners, recruiters, and fellow team members.
