The Mobile Phlebotomist will drive their personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, as directed by the company dispatcher or assigned Area Phlebotomy Supervisor/Area Lead. This role involves following established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining blood samples, ensuring proper patient identification, accurate labeling and transport of specimens, and adhering to policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). The phlebotomist will plan and organize their draw schedule, manage time effectively, and maintain required records. They will also work cooperatively with various departments, maintain equipment, and be readily available via a company-issued mobile device. Other duties may be assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
