About The Position
Mobile Wellness Solutions is seeking a Part-time Mobile Phlebotomist who is interested in working as an independent contractor. This role involves traveling to patient locations to perform phlebotomy services, including obtaining vitals, drawing blood and urine, and collecting medical history. Compensation is paid per appointment/event, with bi-weekly pay. Some travel expenses may be covered based on appointment location.
Requirements
- Proven experienced phlebotomist.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Valid Auto Insurance.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
- Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
- Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner: to print, scan and upload completed documents.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples.
- Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
- Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
- Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, and medical history.
- Accurately labeling all samples.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
